I remember my Mom telling me not cut finger or toe nails and sweeping the floors at night. It gives bad luck.
How about you, can you remember your Mom or Dad telling you about their superstitious beliefs?

yeah,I remember something like dont put a kife in a basin but I dont remember what will happen if you do so,and dont sweeping in the first day of the new year(I mean Chinese new year) it will sweep your whole year's fortune out,so the first day of the new year is really a mess in our place.
