Why do people buy white silver and grey cars?

I am only talking about new vehicles. Second hand vehicles are usually bought for value more than looks. It just seems that there is so many great colours out there now, why do so many people choose such dull and boring colours? No offence if this is you and if it is why did you choose that colour? If you are wondering mine is second hand and yellow. She may not lokk good but she never lets us down!

Im not sure if its true though...but I have heard that white or silver is the default color that every car comes in and its cheaper to get it in that color than another color because of the money spent on a different car...anyways...I have a second hand jeep cherokee that is blue...

I guess it just depends on everyone else's preference. Some like re, some blue. and some are just attracted to the colors you have mentioned. It might not be boring to them as it is to you. Mine's blue but I did not choose it. I kind of like silver. To me it looks grand.
