Are you careful around people with allergies?

Ihave 2 cats and I am alergic to cats and dogs. I know that there are many people who are alergic to animals so before they enter my home I let them know that I have cats and if they are alergic then they should either take allergy meds or stay outside.

My aunt is alergic to alcohol. So when i go to see her I don't wear pufume or anything that could hurt her. I think that your mother should be more considerate of you. I guess you could expect that from other people but I can't belive it is your own mother doing it. My mom would never do that if she knew it hurt me.

I'm so sorry that your mother is very inconsiderate like that. I've got a similar problem with my mother. It seems like she can't live without hairspray, she claims it's the only way that she can get her hair to look nice. The problem is that hairspray seems to be one of my many allergies. It makes my asthma act up really bad. I tried to get her to give it up but she wouldn't. Finally she agreed to only put it on in a part of the house that I never go in, but I still can't be near her for a few hours after she puts it on. It makes me really sad that she is more concerned with how her hair looks than my health.

We are extremely careful around people who have allergies. If we don't know about them though there is nothing we could do abouy it. My wife suffers from allergies, as well as our son. so it is really second nature around our house to be careful.

I don't really think of myself as a person with allergies. There has to be a serious pollen riot for it to get me sneezing.

Incense, however, does me in. It gives me a sore throat and a headache. It is basically filling the air with pungent smoke, for god's sake, how can it be good for you allergies or no?

My husband used to burn the stuff and I finally put a stop to it. If I knew it gave someone a sore throat and headache, or made them sneeze or cough, I certainly wouldn't deliberately inflict something like that on them.
