I know when I used to visit FL it was rainy. I know when we first moved here 2 years ago it rained just about every afternoon around 4. Last hurricane season seemed a bit dry to me. Where has the rain gone? Are you afraid of the fires? Has it been more dry to you?

We moved back to Florida two years ago. I can remember visiting here prior to that time and can remember the daily showers of rain in the afternoon. Mom was always telling us how it rained every day on the way home from work when she was living here and we were in Arkansas. When we first got here we were getting the rain then after that first summer it went dry. Last summer we didn't have the afternoon showers and I don't think we will this summer either. We are just getting a rain once in a blue moon and it doesn't help at all.

I dont live in Florida but wanted to share something with you about our weather in West Virginia. When I was growing up, the rain would flood the road adn it would be impassable for about 3 days after the rain stopped. Now when the water floods, the road is cleared of water within a day. We have had alot of rain lately yet yesterday I noticed that the ground was splittin like it was too dry in seveal places. Now it has rained all day yesterday, last night and today. The water is muddy but it is not up any from normal. This is really weird to me and I am very concerned.

I know how you feel. I am used to the afternoon showers we used to gt here in fl. It was almost like clock work at around 4pm we would get nice heavy showers. I haven't seen that since we first got back here in FL two years ago. It is alarming to say the least.
