Are you in favor of those teachers who are transvertite? Do you think they can be effective inside the classroom?

Personally I don't think the ability to teach depends on your personal preferences, and I'm all for equal opportunities. Having said this, a transvestite teacher had better be made of some very strong metal. Knowing what I do about the feral nature of children as a group, they are bound to give a transvestite teacher some grief for this choice.

Yes, I think they can be. It's not what the teacher looks like, it's how well they get their students involved in learning. Kids are lots less rigid than adults and can get past the cross-dressing issues easier.
If the teacher is a talented teacher, it doesn't matter what they wear or how they look.
