If one song were to describe your life, what would it be?

Hmmm I generally don't respond to one line OPs, I mean you could at least make an effort to cite your own choices to get the discussion rolling. But I'll toss out a few. A Pirate Looks at 40-Jimmy Buffet "yes, I am a pirate, 200 years too late, the cannon don't thunder, there's nothing to plunder, I'm an over 40 victim of fate, Arriving too late, arriving too late." Also, Queen's "Don't Stop Me now" and Supertramp's "The Logical Song".

"I love you" by Sarah MacLachlan. The song is so poignant and emotion-filled. It's about loving someone from afar and everytime you're close to them you want to tell them how you feel, but can't quite get the words out. This has happened a few times in my life and every time I hear the song I get emotional. "but every time I'm close to you, there's too much I can't say and you just walk away and I forgot to tell you I love you and the night's so long and cold here without you I grieve in my condition for I cannot find the words to say I need you so" beautiful.

If one song was to describe my life at present what would it be well that is easy. It would be a song by the Lighthouse family called Free. I know that most people have not heard this song before and for those who dont that might want to know me better i will type some of it here for you. Free I wish i could feel what it like to be free I wish i could break all the chains holding me I wish i could say all the things i should say Say them loud say them clear for the whole wide world to here. Right now? Gosh. I think it'll be "Gives You Hell" by the All American Rejects. The lyrics says it all, really. Its like a big eff you to anyone who thought I wouldnt make it. :-)
