detroit pistons vs. chicago bulls round 2  

I think it will be a great series. I am picking the Pistons in 6 games.

detroit will win this match-up. but predicting the winner of the series will be an understatement. ben wallace will be returning to the palace for the first time in the playoffs and i expect the pistons fans giving him a very not so warm welcome. ben wallace has been a key factor for the bulls in the sweep against the defending champions, and i expect the same or probably even more intense performance against detroit. ben wallace homecoming will be the highlight of this series, but even though, it would still boil down as to who would win the series.

lets start with chicago. after sweeping the defending champions, the bulls for sure are on high morale going to the second round. luol deng and ben gordon both had a great first round performance while ben wallace and tyrus thomas played great defense in the paint, maybe a message sent to the pistons. deng has been so consistent in the season and in the playoffs while ben gordon has been explosive, two key ingredients for a successful playoff run. aside from deng and gordon, kirk hinrich has slowly become the bulls on court general. hinrich has matured on his game tremendously. deng, gordon, hinrich and wallace. this line-up might give the mighty pistons a run.

the pistons on the other hand remained consistent even though they lost ben wallace in the middle. the addition of veteran chris webber has made the pistons into a more versatile team. webber gives billups, hamilton, prince and rasheed wallace more space to move because of his excellent passing ability, that could give chicago a big problem.
