Research confirms that men are clueless when it comes to reading women's minds, and it's not their fault. When a woman first meets a man, she'll send out several sexually significant signals-hair-tossing, happy chatting, fiddling with her clothes-even when she doesn't find him particularly attractive, say researchers. Those cues supposedly keep you talking while she evaluates. After a
few minutes, her true colors will shine. Furthermore, the more attractive you are, the more likely you'll be the target of someone looking for a shallow, short-term fling
(shucks!). According to a study of college students, men and women hoping for longer-term relationships looked for honesty, social skills, and common interests.
