I am a fan of any Asian because i am Asian too

Yeah He comes from my city Shanghai. I noticed him in 2001. He played for Shanghai Sharks and helped the team won the Chinese Champion. Usually he scored 40+ points in a game

since his rookie year, yao ming has made himself into one of the nba's top perennial stars. he has helped turned around the houston franchise and is now regarded as the nba's best center, dethroning shaquille o'neal. standing at 7-for-6, yao ming already had a tremendoous height advantage over other players, but what made him more deadlier is that he's quicker than most big men of his size and he can shoot way beyond a typical big man's range. the nba have seen a bunch of big men, gherghe muresan, shawn bradley, rik smits, arvydas sabonis, manute bol, but none of them could come close to yao ming. yao plays both offense and defense and could keep up with the nba's fast paced game. aside from the nba, yao ming has also made china into an elite olympics bound team and has connected both the eastern and western worlds through basketball

i like yao too..i think he's a good palyer and he just keeps getting better every game..he handled the games very well..especially when mcgrady wasn't able to play for a few games..
