Ever since I could remember as a child I loved the movie The Wizard of Oz.When Thanksgiving came along once a year it would be aired on TV.I feel it is one of the most wholesome heart warming, movies of it's time and today.I own a special addition boxed set with the actual script word for word.I would recommend this movie to both the young and the young at heart.Where off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz.

I did like the wizard of Oz when I was a child, but I grew up in the 80's and there were lots of other films I liked too. I loved labyrinth and never ending story, and who framed roger rabbit, and there was the goonies and flight of the navigator.

I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite. I love the Lion King :).

It was my favorite movie as a child and is still one of my favorites as an adult. I grew up in Kansas and I loved pretending that I was Dorothy. I used to skip everywhere I went singing "Follow the Yellow Brick Road...". My god-daughter is in love with the movie and I like to share those memories with her. Whenever I watch the movie it makes me think of all the magic and happiness of life. "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Thank you for reminding me. I think I'll go watch it. :)
