Anyone listen to Hawaiian Music?

I'm from Hawaii and I was just wondering how far does Hawaiian music reach in the mainland.

Well, actually, I live in Arkansas, USA and I have never heard of Hawaiian music. I listen to stuff like Nickelback, ACDC, Allman Brothers, Hinder, Daughtry, stuff like that. I have never heard your preference of music. I bet it sounds good though.

Hawaiian music is something like the opera. Not the same style. I'm talking about the same feeling that you get when you listen to opera, it's the same feeling when you listen to hawaiian music. I just wanted to know if there were people in the mainland that listened to hawaiian music. I hope that if you do have the oppurtunity to listen to hawaiian music, take it.
