What are the number of blogs you have made ? Is it good to have a single blog or a number of blogs. What is the limit ?

I have a few blogs that serve different purposes:
My main blog where are write about my main interests: http://www.mattjonesblog.com
My photoblog where I share some photography: http://photo.mattjonesblog.com
A blog where I discuss new and fun features of Wikimapia: http://wikimapia.mattjonesblog.com
A blog at Vox where I post mostly fluff and fun items and do their "Quote of the Day" and "Vox Hunt" posts: http://mattjones.vox.com
There are other places that I live on the internet as well, but they are primarily to point to my main blog.
I don't think people should have more blogs than they can update consistently. I guess I just thing there should be a pretty good reason to have multiple blogs.

It has nothing to do with "running out of room." It has to do with quality content.

But isn't "consistently updated" part of the definition of a blog? I don't understand why you don't just make a web page and have individual pages for the various information you want to provide. That seems much easier than running so many blogs that (in my eyes) aren't actually blogs.
Yeah, you are an opportunist that is taking advantage of the resources of the blogosphere, and that is your right to do so, but I am assuming you aren't trying to gather any consistent readers.
(And I actually don't see that you stopped by my blogs...?)
