HOW SAFE IS OUR photo ON INTERNET

I HAVE OFTEN BEEN ASKED BY MY PALS,BUT NEVER REALLY GAVE MUCH THOUGHT TO IT that
Is our picture that we post in our profile of any site like mylot,hi5 etc really safe???IF SO then how do we know about its standerds???
These days its so normal to hear of pics being misused and edited by some bunch of crazy selfish people, specially for the purpose of bad sites...
Its one of the reasons which really bothers me and I cant really feel relaxed after sending my pics to any personal email or site.....
how do we make sure that our pictures are safy,encrypted and cant be duplicated from any site.....?????

I don't think photos are very safe on the net. Ya they are some what safe until you don't start making foes. Also they can easily still be traced down and if any thing is done to your pic by somebody you can also report this to specific authorities as it is agains the law to forge photos and other materials and can also correspond to identity theft issues... Any ways you don't need to be scared until you are covered with cheap geeks who have nothing else to do cause forging a photo is no that easy thing. Any ways

Not safe at all ;), uploading photos to the internet is completely at your own risk. And you shouldn't think of IF it would be misused by someone, but WHEN.
