Two days ago I met an old friend when I got up a bus for home. I sat down by her side. After making a few conventional remarks she told me sadly that her elder son who is a 30 years old engineer had lost his normal course in life. Since his girl friend left him 6 months ago, other than going to his office for his daily routine. The rest of the time he locked himself in the room playing computer games. Before that he was a happy-go-lucky guy and took good care for his pet dog. I felt sad after hearing her story but I don’t know what to do. I suggested her to persuade him to consult a psychiatriest for help or ask his close friends to visit him frequently, try to take him to social function where he can make new friends. I hope he will forget his x girl friend very soon and found his new goal. Could anyone kindly give any good idea to help her to put her son in the right course again.

he is in depression for more than 6 months?i am sorry to hear that.for most men,i think, they won't be sad for so long, and they will use work to forget their exgirl, but this seems useless to your friend's son.maybe find a new love will be better, the best way to forget someone is to let another in,but i think he still feels hurt and no one can go into his heart,go to psychologist is useful for him now,as you said,we have to let him gain his normal life first.

A man once he was jilted he may not forget his exgirl for life. One of the cases was my former art teacher whose exgirl was a writer who jilted him and he remained single for the rest of his life. He was quite a famous artist and he might have his own ideology and philosophy for being single. For present moment I do hope that my friend’s son will put the depressed memory aside and try to get to his normal course. Yeah, your suggestion to get the replacement of love is workable to some extent for certain people. Nowadays it seems that more and more men are jilted by women lol.

It's not so easy to solve your friend's son problem. First, you have to find out how are their relationship among son and mother? Second, why his x girlfriend left him? Things occured have their causes. Since I believed in my religion, all happenings have their ??(cause and feeedback),or maybe it is one's karma?!I will solve the problem by chanting "NAMYOHORENGEKYO"and in my prayer I will appologize to my GOHONZON that I am wrong and have to realize my wrong deeds!Chants more to reduce my karma!Do your friend has any belief? If so, pray and apppologise may help.
