Good toys for a 6 month old?

My son seems so bored with everything. He isn't quite sitting up yet, but close. He does roll over and crawl. He is so bored with all his toys, we have a million! Rattles, teethers, a soft piano, a puppy that sings and talks, and the list goes on and on! But he'll play with something for like 5 mins if that and screams and cries! I cant find anything to keep his attention. Anyone have a good toy recommendation for this age?

That is a really hard age because their attention span is so short. When my twins were that age, I had a baby video that had soft music and shapes that would magically turn into other things. They absolutely would be mesmorized...and it would give me a good 30 minutes to get something done!

Maybe he doesn't need toys. Maybe he prefers more social interaction and company.

At this age, your baby uses all of his senses to explore and learn about his world. Make sure he has lots of safe things around to touch, mouth, and manipulate. He'll delight in squishing a soft rubber ball, patting a piece of fake fur, gnawing a chilled teething ring, and hearing a bell sound inside a stuffed animal. It's also about now that he'll really begin to enjoy looking at books with you. No matter what your child's age, of course, reading provides an opportunity for cuddling and socializing that both you and your baby can appreciate. You'll also improve his language skills and prime him for a lifetime love of reading.

A jumperoo http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2001&e=detail&site=us&selcat=bgsw&pid=35540 This was the ONLY thing that my son can stay in and play for at least 30 minutes! He's also like that when he was an infant. Doesn't like tummy time, doesn't like playing with any of his toys, etc. This was the only thing that worked! See if you can get a secondhand one from your local thrift store. It was SO worth it!!!

My son loved roll-a-rounds at that age, funny today I just packed them up, so that lasted over a year! http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=30&e=search&N=0&Ntk=Products|Articles&Ntx=mode+matchany&Ntt=roll-a-rounds

6 mos. old babies are mostly undecided. If they see something they like they will pursue to get it. If they don't like it anymore they will leave it. They have this physical attachment that if they feel that you were far from him/her, he/she will call your attention. They wanted us to be near them all the time, they don't wanna be left alone unless they are used to be alone.

That's a tough one because what one kid likes the other necessarily doesn't. At least that's how it's worked for our kids. One will love something and the other will hate it, which sucks because we have toys ALL over the house because they all need something different to entertain them.
