Tastes like lawn clippings but it supposedly does great things for the body. Ever try it?

I've heard it's good for you, but haven't tried it. Does it come as a grass-type product that you chop up put in dishes, or do you blend it into a liquid? The lawn clipping taste would be a definite turn off for me, but maybe it's a sacrifice that's worth making for better health.

You can buy the actual fresh grass in a tray (where you clip your daily dose) or you can buy the pre-cut grass. For the fesh grass you need a juicer capable of juicing wheat grass (not all juicers can). This can be rather time consuming if you're in a rush, but it gives the best results.
There are also powdered 'green drinks' which contain powdered wheat grass. They will help too.
Wheatgrass has a detoxing quality so if you've never had it, take a very small amount at first and then work your way up to a few ounces a day.

I have just bought a bottle of it as I am too busy to grow it and juice it myself. I have only had two shots so far so don't really have much experience yet! I know the bottled stuff isn't as good as fresh but it still has a lot of goodness, just not the enzymes. Have you tried it yourself? I would like to hear from experience if someone reckons it works or actually does anything at all!

A couple of years ago I drank wheatgrass regularly. Actually I mixed it in with other veggies/fruits I juiced. I found it made my skin look better, I could workout harder without being so tired, and I also found that my muscle recovery time was much quicker.
There were many benefits after drinking it over time.
Additionally, if you mix a little of the wheatgrass with water while watering your plants, you'll be amazed at how much healthier they look and how much more robust the plant will look.
Give it a try. I'd be interested to know how it goes.
