Has anyone seen an onslaught of stomach viruses lately?

It seems like everyone I talk to around here has a stomach virus and just doesn't feel right. Generally sick to their stomachs, usually diarrhea and sometimes vomiting. My son had it and now I think he's shared. I tend to get anything and everything that's around anyways with the MS. Just curious if any other areas seem to be experiencing it.

My neice came home today due to an upset stomach. She mentioned a few of her friends had a stomach flu last week. It looks like it's going around again. I just hope not too bad this year and that I don't get it. I don't need it and no one else I know of. I'm hoping with my neice it's just something disagreed with her and nothing major with her. I can hope right?

Well she got up and went to school this morning without any problem so that looks good. We'll see what happens but I think she's going to be fine.

This has not been a problem in my area as of yet. People are having allergy problems but not stomach viruses. It could be something that could go around. Hope everyone where you live gets over their illness soon. We have had this problem in the past but it did not get too serious or out of hand. I hope that I do not get this virus.

LOL!! I really try to take care of myself. I do get the flu shot every year but I make sure drink my Himalayan Goji juice faithfully and increase my intake of water and vitamin C. Stay well, Jerryn

Oh no--- I hope it passes soon. My family had it a couple of weeks ago- My daughter started- puking all night- then was fine the next day- then my sig. other got it the next day- he was chilled, then hot and achy all over- He had severe diarrhea for days- scared me. And then I got it- YUK! I was puking and had diarrhea for 1 day! My stomach hurt for a couple of more days—cramping- I tell you the bug is going around and it’s not fun!

I am sorry to hear that you have MS, My dad had MS, but it was when i was young, and i didn't understand at all what it ment. On the topic of the discussion though, yes we had that stomache thing flying around here a month ago or so now. I went to a friends place and her little guy (he's born the exact same day and year as my daughter) had it, but she wasn't aware it was a flu, she just thought it was something that she gave him cause he was just starting solids. But me and my daughter got sick, and the other mom and baby that was there with us got sick. I dont think i've ever been that sick before in my life! i had liquids coming from both ends of my body at once! not to mention the shivers, the feaver, and i just couldnt get warm. No matter what! I hope you dont end up with that type of flu. I wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy! not that i have any enemies lol.

The actual flu can really knock a person down for sure! Thanks for the well wishes with the MS. It's not a huge factor in my life but it is a factor I live with. I'm so very lucky not to have it be a real issue and can pretty much deal with the everyday annoyances of it. I've only had 2 real exacerbations with it bad enough to hospitalize me.

It seems like it is everywhere. It kind of makes you wonder if it is a virus or if it a reaction to something that we all are eating.

Well the recent scare with pet food brought the FDA to realize that the same feed/wheat was also used in some feeding of our chickens and pigs too. The chickens were already slaughtered and out in the public while they think the pigs were caught before slaughter. They claim it's not "lethal" to us but come on, how much of this kind of stuff can we continue to intake before we have something go haywire?

This lovely virus visited our home as well. I won't go into details but it wasn't fun.

I know it's been happening around here in Indiana. My daughter just recovered from her second bug in less than a month's time. 1st time she was out of school for 3 days, the second time for 4 days plus a weekend. I caught a little of it from her but most of it is gone now, just working on getting my voice back the rest of the way. Having asthma and bronchitis makes it take longer. :(

Must just be the season I guess. I constantly hear more and more people who seem to have something bugging their tummies.
