Are Children Growing Up Too Fast?

I think yes. I see a lot of dolls on the market but one thing I took notice to is "Baby Bratz Dollz" Or something. Dolls made to look like toddlers who wear mini skirts, knee high boots and are in sudductive poses on the boxes. ALso, I saw a girl who looked around 5 wearing a mini skirt, halter neck top and boots. She was even pretenidng to smoke with a lollipop stick. And they're just a couple of examples from what I see. What do you all think?

OMG, that is horrible. Yes, children today are growing up too fast in my opinion. I see children in the 4th grade wearing makeup and discussing their diets!! Their bodies are trying to grow and yet they are already dieting, so that they can fit into the skinny-cut clothing that is fashionable. Their discussions aren't about childish-type issues rather makeup, dating, diet, and such. Heck, when I was in fourth grade, I was still playing with dolls! Sad, very sad. No wonder I have seen three tweleve-year-old pregnancies at the heatlh department this year!

Yes, kids are definitely growning up too fast. And I'm trying to fiqure out how to control it in my house. I have a house full of girls, one boy, and my oldest is not setting the best examples for her sisters. I tell ya what, I'll show you a pic of my daughter and you tell me how old she is. Things are just really getting out of control. And technology isn't helping. It's sad, what is our society, our future in for?

Yep, kids are growing up to fast, or at least they think they are. And I have to say that girls are worse for this. I think the dolls that they can buy has something to do with it, plus things they watch on T.V. but also with the so called 'role models' splashed all over magazines and telly. To many kids are pre occupied with who they want to look or be like, rather than just being what they are. Kids!
