I just went to vote - have you remembered?

I just went to cast my vote in memory of the ladies that tried so hard to get our voices heard more than because I think it will make any difference. I was frustrated by the fact that we only have candidates for the 3 main parties so I could not vote for the Monster Raving looney party, Green Party or any other if I had wanted to. Also, I could have cast 4 votes locally but there was only one candidate for the party I wanted so I would actually have ended up voting more for the ones I did not want!!! Strange or what. I wish we had proportional representation then I would feel that my vote was making a difference. Did you turn out in the sun to make your thoughts heard?

I didn't forget hun, my partner and I will be going to the local school to vote this evening when he comes home from work. I wish more people would remember to vote, after all if you do not register your vote, surely you have no right to complain afterwards :-)
