USA might have the most winning titles as for now, but Venezuela is slowly catching up. USA stands at 7 and Venezuela now stands at 6, so I really think there's a high chance of Venezuela catching up in the near future as their representitives are getting more and more gorgeous. USA representitives were all pretty average these few years as compared those of the earlier batches.

For USA to maintain its lead with the most number of winners, they must choose a contestant with a gorgeous look and a charming personality. I have noticed that for the past 10 years, USA has no competent representatives compared to that of Latin Americas. I am even surprised why USA contestants still managed to place in the semifinals because when we looked at it, it seemed they were not really that competent to catch up with other contestants who were more gorgeous, stunning and charming.

Yes, because I have a complete listing of the Miss Universe winners since 1952. The country with the most number of Miss Universe winners is USA with seven: These are Mirriam Stevenson-1954, Carol Morris-1956, Linda Bement-1960, Sylvia Hitchcock-1967, Shawn Weatherly-1980, Chelsi Smith-1995, Brooke Mahilanie Lee-1997.
Second countries with most number of Miss Universe winners are shared with two countries Venezuela and Puerto Rico with five each: (Venezuela) Maritza Sayalero-1979, Irene Saez Conde-1981, Barbara Palacios Teyde-1986, Alicia Machado-1996 and Dayana Mendez-2008. (Puerto Rico): Marisol Malaret-1970, Deborah Carthy-Deu-1985, Dayanara Torres-1993, Denise QuiƱnez Aguilar-2001 and Zuleyka Rivera-2006.
