choose: AIR CONDITIONER or ELECTRIC FAN?  

I would choose airconditioning, it has the ability to cool the whole house where as a fan just sucks in more hot air and dust.Sometimes you have to have like 3 or 4 fans going at the same time to get everyone cooled off,but if you have whole house air everyone is comfortable and cool and able to get a good nights sleep with out being sticky and hot all night.

I choose-both. I run the air conditioner at a low speed and run a fan to move that air around. With my MS, it helps me alot. Air conditioning costs alot more to run an eletric fan, but it cools the air and all the electric fan does is move the air around. So.. I do both.

I like natural air. Here at our place there are cool winds blowing. So it makes me feel chilled when the moist cold air passes my golden locks. I really feel like in heaven when i am at my terrace. I don't need all these artificial appliances.

Air conditioning, for sure. It's cooler than just a fan.

My vote goes to Electric Fan..

Basic reason.. in air condition: consumption of more electricity..
More expensive..

well i have to have my air conditioner i cant stand to be hot in fact i use a fan in my bed room year round,i have to air moving all the time or i cant breathe.

I have always preferred central air conditioning for overall climate control. We've had some problems with our air conditioning, though, and I have learned to really appreciate the wonderful breeze generated by a fan. It can be quite delightful to sit under the ceiling fan, or in front of an oscillating fan. I still actually prefer the central air conditioner for comfort, but the fans are growing on me.
