Stan Lee in Heroes |
|
Did anyone notice that Stan Lee is doing cameo in Heroes episode 19 as a bus driver whose talking to Hiro when he ask his friend to leave him. I can't find the pics but was taking my attention when I saw in the opening credit there's Stan Lee name. Is it because Jeff Loeb was the script writer of the show?

3. Hmmmmm (1687) | 3 years ago | I DID notice the cameo, and I just assumed he was asked to appear because the creators/writers/other staff considered it an honor (that, and true comic book fans would get a real kick out of it). I really don't know much about comic books and the creators, but I learned of Stan Lee from his appearance on Dinner For Five and found him quite entertaining. What is the relationship between Jeff Loeb and Stan Lee?

Neo_Knights (1305) | 3 years ago | Fiuh... finally someone notice.. oops sorry, the correct one is Jeph Loeb, he is one of the Marvel/DC great modern writer. His works are Batman:Year One which filmed as Batman Begins, he also wrote for Smallville, and Lost. While Stan Lee is, you know, a great superhero creator in the Golden Age of comic.

Hmmmmm (1687) | 3 years ago | Ahhhh! So thanks to you, now I know that Jeph Loeb wrote for Marvel/DC, and I would have to guess that he was the one who asked Stan Lee to appear. I really think that TV show execs do this kind of thing because it is truly exciting for the fans. I think they themselves get a kick out of "in jokes" like these, but I think the fans appreciate it even more. Even though I am not a comic book fan, I love knowing stuff like this!

| 4. natskeez (63) | 3 years ago | Hey Neo Knights,
I spotted Stan Lee as the bus driver in that episode, man that was great to see and old face. It was amazing because he's normally the man behind the scenes. I can't believe no one that's responded so far doesn't know him. Marvel Comics does that ring a bell he's one of the main men behind all the comic books and movies/cartoons.

Neo_Knights (1305) | 3 years ago | It is common to see Stan Lee to appear as a cameo in his comic-based movie he made. but he has nothing to do with Heroes. I guess he should be rewarded as the father of mutants. LOL

7. rogue13xmen13 (7100) | 3 years ago | Yes, I saw that, and I loved it. Yes, Jeph Loeb has a close relationship with Stan Lee, a lot of the people in the cast and on that show wanted him to be on that show. Oh, by the way, read Jeph Loeb's Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America and be prepared to cry because it is a really good comic book. Jeph Loeb lost his son when he was writing this comic.
