 Ok so I have red hair and over my life so far I have heard some pretty funny things that people believe are true to red heads. I am not going to say them cause I want to hear what others think.Please share what you have heard, thought or been told. It's quite funny to hear these.

More likely some guy just had an experience with a red headed woman and narrow-mindedly put her smell down to her hair colour when in fact hair colour had nothing what so ever to do with it.

I don't know if it's just me sometimes you feel like your different from other people because I mean there are a lot of red heads but it's the least common of all hair colors. My stepdad used to call me carrot top, like what is that, the top of a carrot is green..lol | |

One of my cousins is a red head and is quite fiesty. while some of the things ppl say about hair color, blondes have more fun, red heads are mean etc, is funny, i don't believe any of it to be true. Right back to that whole labeling thing that ppl tend to do.

I haven't heard anything else, so I'm interested to see what other people have said, and I will look at the other replies you have gotten after I post this! I don't know if the thing about bad tempers is true because you can't judge everyone the same way. Lol, don't feel bad, I'm a blonde so obviously you know what gets said about us.:)

I spent my whole life hearing the phrases about dynamite coming in small packages and a red headed temper. Im not easy to anger so that just makes no sense to me. I get a nice burn every year unless I keep my sun exposure to a 20 minute limit. If I can manage that I can get a reasonable tan that will stay all winter and fade in exactly april. That way it is all nice and gone to give me a great burn again come june. The funniest one I have heard is "red on the head= fire in bed" figure that one out:(
