GoFreelance - any information?

I'm glad to hear this - not glad it's a scam but to find out before I signed. I've wondered myself because I was under the impression the newsletter was to 'provide information' but the only thing I've gotten for several weeks is 'this job is available if you sign up'.

Thank you so much for this information. I have not signed up to pay any money yet - I can't afford to be giving my money away for nothing. I am also unsubscribed from their newsletter, I figure two people have said it's a scam that's good enough for me.

I have been sending emails and no response anyone know where I can freelance.

Thank you anyway - I am always very leary of any place that asks for money 'first'. It would be great if it was for real but not sounding like it is.

I am actually working on some articles for AC but was hoping to find something a little more 'regular'. I've not heard of Orble but will check it out - thank you for the suggestion.

I know I could spend all day on myLot but afraid without referrals (I have zero) I certainly don't earn enough here to live on. My regular writing job has been good but I would like to find something such as data entry or editing where I didn't have to do so much research and use all my creativity - kind of a break from writing but still earning.

Thank you dear from what the first two people have said I've just unsubscribed from their newsletter and not going to mess with them. God will provide for my needs I'm sure.

Thank you kathy I do love doing the newsletter but that is for God, not for money:) I do need a little more income than what I'm bringing in right now as I am praying I will be able to buy the house I'm renting right now.

Hi again Faith, so what else are you doing to earn extra money on the net. Hopefully something!! I am doing paid to reads to earn extra money here but hopefully I shall be doing something else soon as well. xx

Hi Kathy - my 'major job' online is I work for a small company as a freelance/ghost writer. We mainly write content articles for web sites, blogs, and such but a few months ago branched out into e-books and so far I've done 4 of those. The money is great and I enjoy the work - the client provides a topic and keywords then we do the research and writing, it's fun learning about a lot of different things through research. The problem is there are 'down times' in between assignments and I'm looking for something to add to my income during those times. Other than that I have myLot:) and also have a program I make about $20 a month off my web site. My daughter and I both signed up with this company to do some light home assembly work but we haven't heard yet if we've been accepted.
I've done the paid to read things but got very discouraged when I got nearly to payout and they closed down or raised their payout tremendously. I was making about $100 a month off Google but they banned me and never gave me a reason - I'm still made about that as I know I read the guidelines a hundred times and wasn't doing anything but they've done the same thing to hundreds of people that I know of.

Hi Faith, Oh that sounds really great then and I know that you are very good at what you do but if you are ever look for the paid to read sites then please private message me as I have been doing this for over 6 years nwo and they are not closing down the ones I belong to.

Thank you so much for these suggestions, I will certainly look into them. I have heard of Guru but don't have any work to post there at this time. I've also heard of WAHM but it seemed most of what they had to offer were paid to read and affiliate programs - I'm horrible at getting referrals so those don't seem to provide much income for me.

You are very right that's why I posted this discussion though with so many member on myLot I figured there might be at least a few who were familar with the site and I was right.
