Have you ever joined a "Fan Club"? For who?

I am still a member of Harry Potter fan club. Even i am not too young:-) I have never been in fan club of music groups and film stars.

In the 80's I joined a fan club for "Def Leppard." I still love their music but no longer belong to the fan club. I met a lot of great people through that fan club from all over the world, and I still keep in touch with several via email.

Ok i am going to make you work for this I am tired of making life so easy for those out there My first fan club and i was one of the first 50 to join was in early 1977 for an new pro team that came to Toronto 30 years ago.....What team and what sport A grade one kid could answer that I am sorry i am getting a little punchy I have been replying to my email alerts for more then 2 hrs and have 12 credits Is that a lot of time for so few credits I donot know anymore Good Luck and the earnings are getting lower and lower every day

I joined the Kenny Chesney fan club back in 2003 when it first started- I am a huge fan of Kenny- I thought it would great! Sure it’s neat to read the things posted there- but I didn’t renew. I thought I would get tickets easier when he came to town- No such luck- Luckily I got in early from a local radio station. Never joined any other fan clubs.

Way back when, I belonged to the Herman's Hermits fan club. I was absolutely in love with Peter Noone. Of course I was very young,but I still like him as a old woman. I also got a Neil Diamond fan club membership for Christmas one year many years ago. But I still love their music.In fact i think I will listen to them today.

I was in the Faith Hill fan club when I was a child. Then I was in the Backstreet Boys fan club when I was around 13 years old. That's all that I know of.

no, never! I am not into celebraties! I refuse to give them any more attention then they already recieve. I do not pick up any of the magazines with what they are up to. I have always (even as a kid) looked at them as the same as me and you. But I know a lot of people enjoy the fan clubs.

There are certain celebraties I have a lot of respect for but I still would not join a fan site

No I have not ever joined a fan club, but I have read about many when i was a teen..reading Tiger Beat, Teen Beat etc. A few years ago, i looked into getting into Jeff Gordon fan club for my son as a Christmas present...but I guess they don't do that anymore.

I think that is interesting that one person said they were in a Backstreet Boys club,another said Hermans Hermits club,and another said a Def Leapard fan club back in the 80's. I love Def Leapard,Backstreet Boys,and Hermans Hermits music. I went to see a Hermans Hermits concert at a casino. The concert was outdoors and I met Peter Noone after the concert and he autographed my hermans hermits cd. I love Hermans Hermits music and I am a big fan of 60's and 70's music. I joined the Mary Kate and Ashley fan club.
