When you start using word it gives you the option of selecting the language you want to use and I chose english with english spelling. However, every time I type something it either auto corrects my spelling to the american version or it identifies it as an error.
I am constantly having to add words spelled in the way I prefer, but even then it still either auto corrects or identifies it as a spelling error.
I know it's a little thing but it still annoys me.

I hate that too!
But mine gives the option of selecting English (Australia) and I find if I have that selected then it doesn't try to change words like recognise and colour to the american spelling.
You say you chose English with English though? So i would have thought yours would be doing the same!
I hate bad spelling and grammar, I'm always picking up my boyfriene because he says "guess what I done today" hehe he gets so annoyed at me lol
