When you start using word it gives you the option of selecting the language you want to use and I chose english with english spelling. However, every time I type something it either auto corrects my spelling to the american version or it identifies it as an error. I am constantly having to add words spelled in the way I prefer, but even then it still either auto corrects or identifies it as a spelling error. I know it's a little thing but it still annoys me.

I hate that too! But mine gives the option of selecting English (Australia) and I find if I have that selected then it doesn't try to change words like recognise and colour to the american spelling. You say you chose English with English though? So i would have thought yours would be doing the same! I hate bad spelling and grammar, I'm always picking up my boyfriene because he says "guess what I done today" hehe he gets so annoyed at me lol

Thanks for your reply. Mine didn't have the australian english version, but the english english should have fixed it. It's more the auto correct that annoys me as I spell check all of my documents anyway.
