Aguas Frescas
These cool drinks are made with water, fruit and sugar and are commonly served in summer!
To make just take any ripe fruit (common flavors include pineapple,leechy, muskmelon, watermelon, strawberry and papaya) blend till smooth, add water to thin to a light consistency and sweeten to taste with sugar. Depending on the fruit you may need to strain the mixture to remove any seeds or small bits, the drinks should be the consistency of water (thus the name).

Try a drunken watermelon. Buy a nice-sized watermelon a few days before the event and poke two holes in the top of it. The top is the side opposite the yellow spot, if you didn't know. Stick a funnel in one of the holes and slowly pour in vodka until the watermelon will take no more. In a few hours, pour again, and keep doing this until the day of the party. That morning of the party, or perhaps the night before if you've got the space, put the watermelon in an ice chest or the fridge. When your guests are ready for it, bring the watermelon out and slice into wedges to serve. Cold, refreshing AND intoxicating. Not for the kiddies, though, lol!
