"What hurts the most" video question  |

 I was just wondering, for those of you that have seen the video for this song, is the girl pregnant? There's the one scene that shows her in the bathroom and another part right after where it shows her hand holding her stomach. It made me think that that was what it was she wanted to tell him..."having so much to say...". Anyway, the video was not at all what I expected and it makes me cry every time I see it.

Rascal Flatts is a wonderful group, I don't think they have a single song that I wouldn't listen too or couldn't relate to on some level and they SOUND as though they mean every word. Not all performers connect with their own music like Rascal Flatts does. | |

Unless you have ever been so devastated that you cried until you made yourself sick, I don't think you would understand it. But I have been heartbroken to the point of nausea. I personally think that "so much to say" was just that she saw him, too, when she thought about the future. I say that because that's the question he asked her...what do you see...and she did not answer him. I think he left without truly knowing how she felt. I would personally like to think that Rascal Flatts is not advocating teen pregnancy, but that's my personal opinion...we are all entitled to one.

Remember when they're in the truck and she asks him, "Do you ever think about the future? What do you see?" He answers, "I see you." When he asks her what she sees, she runs off. She never answered his question. So then he dies in a car crash and she finds out she's pregnant with his baby and it's absolutely eating her up that she never told him about how she really feels. She does this later at his cross on the side of the road.
To me, the whole song (and music video) is about how you need to tell the people you love that you love them, before it's too late.

I only knew her less than 24hrs so there was a lot I never got to tell her. I noticed that part of the video and in my mind remember thinking what an interesting play to put in. It could be that she's pregnant or that she's just sick with grief. I really admired this video and still love to hear that song. I think it was very creative and unique the way the video doesn't quite answer the question fully of whether or not she's pregnant..
