Memories About this Movie  | |  I guess it is a testament to the "usual suspects" that after almost over a decade, I'm still watching the film. In fact, this movie is the ONLY movie that my mother truly got stumped.
You see, my mother was really accurate in identifying who the bad guy is 30-40 minutes into any whodunit movie. But imagine her surprise when she saw that Kevin Spacey, the cripple, walked straight and got into the car with Kobayashi (though I wonder why they cast a white guy for the role and not an Asian).
Really,it is an instant classic from then on. I've already watched the movie until the VHS tape got stuck. Now I'm trying to track down the DVD here in our place.

| | 2.  roadrat (210) | 3 years ago |  i dont know why i love this nmovie so much. casting was great and it was a ride. remember there was never a kobayashi. it was printed on the bottom of the coffee cup. spacey used it to fabricate the character. using a different culture reinforced this well. i have the DVD. have you tried amazon.com?

There are many clues that I missed the first time. I still find a clue here and there each time I see it.I was so glad Kevin Spacey won the Oscar for this role.Oh, I almost forgot. It is okay Kobayashi is played by a non Asian because Kobayashi is the name on the cup. he doesn't have to be Indian at all. I think he was Turkish like his boss, Keysher Soze.Here in the States, The Usual Suspects is on DVD. I hope you can get your own copy.

| | | 5. andrefilipe (2) | 2 years ago |  When I started watching this movie I was waiting for some ordinary crime movie but with the time I got confused and didn't know what to expect and when I tried to predict the ending it was too late. It was one of the best twists I've ever seen in a movie.
That's why this is one of my favourite movies of all time.
