 The best kind of love that person can give is selfless love. The kind of love weherin you put your needs aside to give way to the needs of the person you love. Some may call it dumb or as the Filipino's call it "katangahan". But for me this is the true meaning of love.
Emotions come from the brain specifically the hypothalamus (our control center) logically that means we should be able to select the person that we love. The person that has the specific traits we have set in our mind as the ideal person to love. Ironically we fall for the peron far from what we've perceived as ideal. That is the mystery of love and that is the very reason why i belive that selfless love is the best form of love.. Imagine if both of you would have unselfless love for each other..

When one person truely loves another person, desiring to please the other and putting their own needs and ambitions aside is nothing out of the ordinary. My wife and I have been married for 37 years and we still feel and act this way towards each other.
