Rise in price for stamps on Monday!  

I will do a cost benefit analysis.
1.I will see how much cents I have to lose by using the 41 cents stamps.
2.I will see how much benefit I can gain by using the 41 cents stamps in terms of my energy and time.
3.If I can see whether I can use my time and enenrg best elsewhere, then I will go ahead and use the 41 cents stamps.
4.You should also take into consideration the number of stamps that you use.If it is too mush then naturally the cost will be more and I will do it in person.

what?! that certainly sounds "fishy" to me! they shouldnt be running out of 30cent stamps until the DAY that the new one goes into affect!!

I didn't even know this. I guess I have been living under a rock for the past few weeks.lol. I hardly ever use stamps anymore anyway. So this really won't affect me much. I always pay my bills in person as I don't really trust the mail. I have had things lost before. The only thing I send by mail is things like birthday cards and that is only for people I know without computers.

Most of my bill paying is done online these days. It's not only a savings in stamps, but it's a lot faster, and there's less paperwork and clutter laying around. That does sound suspicious, that the post office should run out of stamps right before the increase. Now they've been talking about those forever stamps, that have no price on them, but when the price of stamps go up again, they will still be good for the standard postage. I'm suspicious of that too.

You are absolutely right stamps now is very high but my husband didn't buy now.Because hes been donated a couple dollar in u.s military and they send us a free stamp.

You are not going to believe me, although I live in dark Africa:D I can't even remember when last did I buy a post stamp to mail anything. We pay our bills, and almost everything else via the internet. The only time I make use of the Post Office is when I send a parcel to Michelle in London.
