How often should one dust there home?

I live in a fairly large 5 bedroom 3 story house. And I clean everyday from top to bottom of my home. But I rarely dust it at all. Is there a suggested amount of times a person should dust there home? I mean I know for appearance reasons it should be clean always. But how many people go around checking if there stuff is dusty or not? I just mean for health reasons is there a certain amount of time the dusting should be done?

It takes way to much time. Maybe once a week down stairs only will do.

ugh! I'm worn out just reading about how big your house is. I pick up my house daily but dusting? That only gets done few times a year...really! I have an ionic breeze that actually zaps the dust in the air so it settles mainly on the floor which I also vacuum couple times a week. I'm surrounded by woods but yet my house doesn't get that dusty thanks to the ionic breeze.

sharperimage.com is where I got mine from. One of these days, I'm going to get the smaller ones for 2 of the bedrooms.

I dust twice a week. I have allergies so dusting must be done frequently.

I dust probably twice a week. I have a this problem if I clean my house I have to really clean it meaning dust bleach wash walls and I do all of that like twice a week. Sometimes if I'm bored I'll probably do it 3 times when everyone is off to school and work. And I have a 2 story home with 4 bedrooms house.

How much will you charge to wash my walls, windows, and mini-blinds? Doesn't need to be done till spring.

I dust once a week so things don't get too bad. That is the one chore that I really don't like doing, having to move everythng around and clean all the picture frames and whatnots....it is a huge pain to me but I don't want to have a dusty hose if someone happens to drop by =) I like things to be clean, ut a three story house is alot of work!!

Dusting depends upon how much dust is in the air. I use to live in the country where they framed and the house was a wind tunnel. To keep the house clean we had to dust daily. Now we live in the city and we should dust weekly to keep the dust down. It also depends upon home allergies and what you consider clean. I only dust when I deep clean and that is when I am going to have company.

I wouldnt imagine it would make a lot of difference ..the only thing i can think of is if one of your family wwere an asthmatic...but as for dusting for the sake of it...well i wouldnt bother...if anyone comes to see you..its not likely that they will have come to look at the dust!! You clean a massive house anyway...so i think anyone would forgive you!! My house is tiny...and it takes me a littlew while to get around cleaning this!!..if i had all those rooms...ohhh dear..i dread to think!!
