What Do You Have Hanging On Your Wall(s)?  

I have a beautiful dragon tapestry, and some very beautiful collector swords.

I have several paintings that my late mother did, plus some stilllife prints. I also have what we like to refer to as the "wall of shame" which has a collection of family pictures.

i like photos mostly on my walls.... it gives a personal touch to the room.

I have mostly pictures of mountain and snow on my walls. I also have a Native American wedding Poem that my husband gave me on our wedding day. It is very special to me. We also have some family photos mostly of the grandkids.

I have a mixture of paintings art work pictures on the walls. Photographs of my daughters are hanging on the wall. I also have metal work done by me displays on the wall. Apart from this i have a big canvas painting of a woman in traditional dress in my drawing room. I also have a beautiful secenery made by me and now framed hanging in my room.

lol i have my black celtic cross and than my calender,a shelf,
a picture of two dogs,and than another shelf,a picture of a train that my grandfather had painted when i was a child for me.and than a key rack thing where you can hang your keys at.
and than that's it.that's only in my living room though.

I have the school pictures and Sears photos of my 2 grandsosn in my living room. But attatched is a photo of my all time favorite item hanging in my living room wall. It is a cartoon drawing done at the Minnesota State Fair when he was around 8 years old. Enjoy the photo.

I have several cross stitch pictures that my wife did, someonesmom. She used to do a lot of these before we had children, but I don't think that she has completed one since we've had children.

I also have a silhouette style painting of a person sitting on a bench, and there is a quote that I like on it, that begins, "In as much as you have done this to the least of these...."

I have several stained glass pieces built into the wall with light behind them, and I also have a fish tank built into a wall. In the fish tank sits a Gargoyle statue and the Gargoyle is sucking his thumb and holding his ear. I got this a few years ago as it reminded me of my youngest son, who sucked his thumb and pulled on his ear. Sometimes when he was upset, I would rub his ear for him and it would always calm him.

In my bedroom, I have different pictures that my children have created over the years, someonesmom. I also have pictures of different things and quotes that have caught my eye in magazines and such. It's just a big hodgepodge of things, from an artic fox who looks proud of himself, to a quote about childhood.

Throughout the house we have photographs of our family and friends.

Finally, I'll take this moment to tell you something funny that we used to have on the wall, but it's gone now. Some years ago I was putting hardwood floors in all of our house. My front room is about 700 square feet and I knew that it was going to take me some time to put in the floors and finish them to my satisfaction, so I had cleared out every piece of furniture so that I would have space to work. Unfortunately, it was during the Christmas holiday, and my children wanted a Christmas tree, but I did not want one as it would get in the way. So, I drew and painted a life size Christmas tree on the wall. The boys painted it to look the way they wanted to paint it, and we also hung lights on the wall on the 'tree', as well as hung other items on it. They also clipped some pine branches off the trees outside and attached them to the wall. On Christmas morning, the gifts were placed on the floor at the base of the 'tree.' After the Christmas season, we removed the items from the wall and I simply painted over the tree. When we think back on our different Christmas trees, this one is always the favorite.

When I have the money I'm going to have some of my original photography blown up and displayed on my walls.

right now they are bare, and that's not a bad thing either...

But hopefully in the near future they won't be.
