Min Pins are very good dogs. They are pretty easy to care for but need lots of exercise. They tend to have alot of energy and if you dont let them play outside and take walks everyday they can become destructive. Depending on where you get it from it could cost upwards of 500$ for one. Usually breeders are more expencive but your getting a good dog. Do some reserch online and learn more!! Good Luck!!

Actually they are miniature pinchers. My ex- bought on, he paid about 700 for it, but that was several years ago. He had to have someone go over during the day to let it out, bladder control could not make i for more then about 6 or 7 hours. In October, it had to wear a sweater when outdoors (NY) because it got cold and shivered. Personally, I have labs, the MinPin is a high maintenance dog compare to my big guys.

A friend of ours does have a miniature pinscher and it is a very, very hyper dog. It gets attached to one person and that's it and doesn't really want anyone else. If we let her go outside to the bathroom she has to be put on a leash because she won't come back if someone other than her "mom" is there with her. I was watching her one day and didn't know about the leash thing and she took off running down the road. I got her back but now if I have her she doesn't leave the house. They are such a small dog I'm afraid that other cars wouldn't see her and that other animals may think she's a snack. They are pretty easy to groom so that's not a problem and the last time I looked at the price of one it was about $600.00.

There's no such thing as a Miniature Doberman, you're thinking of a Miniature Pinscher. The breeders I know (health testing performed on parents, great lines, etc) usually sell pets for $850+
