Any tips on learning Greek?  

this may sound odd, but i would suggest talking to a minister...to become a minister (baptist or like faith) these people must pass greek...they might have some hints for you....
the original language of the new testament was greek

hm i cant really say that i know greek , but with the general knowledge about languages i may help you out.
first and foremost i think you should know the script - i dunno whether they use the english script or not ,else you would have a tough job in you hands to study the script .hearing to high quality greek from any sources too, will help.you can rely on TV or computer for that
and at the end there are some things beyond which a tv/computer can provide and for that you need a greek scholar/teacher..
