Text Message Chain Mails

In the past two weeks I have received chain mails via text messages from several friends. It absolutely drives me crazy. E-mail chain letters are bad enough! Has anyone also been receiving these kinds of messages? Do you think they are appropriate considering those without a text messaging plan are paying 10-15 cents per message?

You and me both. I HATE chain letters or messages or whatever.
I really don't know what the deal is. I mean, I don't want to be rude and tell my friends to stop sending me those messages.
There's actually a text joke going around here about chain text messages. It goes something like: "To all my friends who keep sending chain messages, for pete's sake, stop sending them! (blank page) Please pass this to 7 of your friends within 7 minutes or you'll get hit by lighting" Something like that. It's in our native language and I guess the funny part got lost in translation. LOL.

I agree with not wanting to be rude to my friends. But enough is enough already! I got another one this morning (not to mention all the ones that have been e-mailed to me this week). Hmmm, maybe I will have to try sending that text joke and see what happens!

Oh I know what you mean. I don't think it is appropriate. I mean I have to pay for it. I have Verizon and I have umlimited with Verizon but a lot of my friends have other carriers, so I have to pay.
