What cat-related Urban Legends do you know of?

There are a lot of superstitions, myths and urban legends surrounding cats. I'd like to know specifically what Urban Legends relating to cats you have heard of? Here's a couple i know of: Bonsai Cats - Where cats are grown in tanks so they grow square, like bonsai trees. (untrue, just an Urban Legned fortunately!). Green Cats - Where cats were bread with green coloured fur (also unture, the cats fur was dyed to make it look like it was born with green fur). Painted Cats - Where cats had their furs experty and painstakingly painted in wierd and wonderful patterns (no harm to the cats).
