If you were to have left with only 30 bucks(in dollars)and that you were to eke out/stretch to the end of the month with that 30 bucks, how would you manage? Starving/deficiency syndrommes/death are all out of question here. Remember, you weren't to depend on your plastic card(pretend its lost or been cancelled) or any loan/credits from friends/banks/kins whosoever, none. Assuming the particular month has only 30 days. Another assumption to be taken is,that you are not living in the country(that way you won't have to depend for your meals on farms and jungle fruits). You may also assume the assumptions that i haven't thought of right now.But don't make it easier for yourself.lol. Have fun...er! i mean suffer, atleast for 2 minutes here.

I'd be fine. I live on not much more than that every month anyway. 1lb of meat lasts 5 or days as does 1 package of macaroni and 1 can of pasta sauce. I always have staples in my cupboard, so I would be able to make soups and bread, and milk from powder. And I always have coffee and tea. I'd only have to buy meat and eggs ans tuna for my lunches

Well it's a little hard without knowing all the specific things that wouldn't be available but this is the situation that I'm going to assume I've been placed in...I'm in a mojor US city for 30 days, with $30, no place to stay, no friends or family nearby, and nothing else but the clothes on my back. I'm also going to assume that for whatever reason I can not stay at a YWCA or homeless shelter. I would walk to an area of the city which contained little food markets. I would offer to work for the market owners doing their unloading or stocking or cleaning in exchange for their "left overs" ie fruit and vegetables past their prime, day old bread (or two or three day old bread), and also for permission to set up a shelter of sorts from their empty boxes and crates behind the building in in the alley next to it. I would use the $30 to buy food items like peanut butter, canned meat, and a 5 gallon jug of bottled water. That should be enough to see me safely through the 30 days.
