| playful lhasa apso  | | | |  i have a lhasa apso who is so playful.. so cute but when starts playing doesnt listen to commands, well sometimes.. nibbles on anything, runs around the house... we also have hard time potty training, any ideas?

| |  whooah! i do love lhasas! ü lhasa apso is a very intelligent breed. that's why we should train them at early stage as possibe. they are too smart thats why they said we should portray an "alpha leadership" as soon as possible, otherwise, they'd be the one to master us. maybe it would help if you'll buy him/her toys so he/she'll have something to nibble when he/she gets bored. i have different set of toys for my lhasa which i regularly interchange coz she gets easily bored chewing/playing same kind of stuff. anyway, how old is your lhasa? its possible to train a dog in a way we wanted them to behave, it just requires lots of time and patience ü

| | our lhasa is now 8 months old.. yes indeed they are very intelligent! we had bought her sets of toys and still continue to buy new ones every week! she really likes to nibble on them and would eventually ruin the toys! also she doesnt want to be alone.. she wants company even if she sleeps.. love her so much.. | | | |

Yes, they are indeed very intelligent dogs! I have lived all my life (i'm 41 now) with this wonderful breed and I cannot imagine life without having 2 or 3 in my house! My parents are breeders since over 38 years so I think I dare to say I know a bit about them lol
