A moisturizer doesn't actually moisturize your complexion, because skin is waterproof, but it does seal in your own natural moisture so that it won't bo robbed continually by the environment. At the same time, a moisturizer softens your skin's surface and plump out any lines you may already have. Whenever you smile or make a facial expression there will be less dragging on your skin when these movements occur, which in turn reduces the likelihood of wrinkles forming and making your skin looks aged.

Ronimas, thank you for sharing this information. I use moisturizers but sometimes I stop especially at night. I just want to go to sleep... Thank you for reminding me to do it. I would also think drinking enough water helps? And not getting exposed to the sun for long periods of time? Thanks!
