Parenting the Teenagers ..... How to deal with them ?

Hello, We all know Parenting itself is a very complex and a critical job. When this is true for even a new born baby, dont you think parenting becomes more complex when dealing with the Teenagers? My Question is , how to deal with the Teenagers as a Parent? Because, whatever the Parent tell them, most of the Teenagers don't understand them. How do we deal with the Teenagers as a Parent ?
