I will always try to see anything with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Ryan in it, their names at the top of the billing for Fractured guaranteed me plunking down ticket money. Although in this case I used an earned pass at the Regal Cinema. Hopkin's wife is having an affair with homicide detective Billy Burke and we know that also right at the beginning. Unfortunately the problem in this film is that the plot is predicated on Hopkins KNOWING that Billy Burke will be the investigating detective on the scene when the crime is called in. Still Hopkins and Ryan Gosling as the preoccupied District Attorney who is looking to make a career move and not giving the Hopkins case the attention it deserves turn in a pair of fine performances. My favorite in the film however is Billy Burke as the tragic detective in the story. Suggested for Anthony Hopkin and Ryan Gosling fans. Cheers :D

I loved the movie Fracture, and I think Anthony Hopkins did an excellent job.I remember me and my friends were waiting for it to come out in theaters,I still remember the day we were walking around the mall, and some guy stopped and asked us if we wanted to watch a movie clip and tell him what we think of it,so we agreed, and he showed us a clip of Fracture, which it looked awesome,so after that me and my friends were waiting for it to be released in theaters, and each time they would set a date, they would change it,so when it finnaly came out we were a little worried that it might not be as good as we hoped, and that all the time we waited, nearly a year, and the money for the tickets, since my friend lost his ticket and had to buy another, would be wasted. Of course we were wrong, the movie was an awesome suspense film, that you never know where its gonna go next, and you never suspect how its gonna end, even though it seems like a straight foreward movie,it has so many twists and turns that will leave you wanting more.It is an excellent game of cat and mouse, and Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins both know what they hell they are doing, and I give them both two thumbs up. Ive seen the movie atleast three times, and its a movie I dont mind watching several times, and I wanna see it atleast a couple more times. My friend bought Fracture when it was released on DVD and we were watching it,and we all liked the bonus endings it gives you.Anyone who hasnt seen Fracture should defitnally make sure you either buy it or rent it so you can watch it,because it will be well worth it,and you will be glad you did
