When I die I want to be a LifeGem! Whatabout you? email this discussion to a friend?

Not as some sort of pretentious memorial to myself or anything. I just think it would be funny for people to have to decide who has to keep friggin diamonds made out of my dead body. Maybe I'll even get to see who loved me enough to turn me into a piece of jewelry and who puts me in their sock drawer never to be seen again. Weird I know, but I'm sure others have stranger wishes. So, tell me. What do you want done when you die?

Lol I'm not sure I understand the lifegem thing, but that's ok! Lol. When I die I guess I just want to be buried underground. I know, that's boring, but I guess that's just what I want. But in my coffin I want things representing me. I will want a picture of my parents and my husband and my children. And maybe an item or two that represents something important in my life. I want to be a teacher so maybe something having to do with that. Hopefully I won't die until I am VERY old!

when I die, I think I will let my body fired and then don't stock my body in this world.
I really love this world, but I don't think my body means anything when I die and what should do on my died body.
I think die is only go to another world, thus I have gone, I might come back,no need to leave anything in this world.
but I will miss peoples still in this world.

When I die, I'm not really worried about what they do with my body. After all, I will be finished with it. I don't want my family to have to spend a fortune, so whatever they see fit to do is fine by me.

What a novel concept. I'd never even heard of LifeGems until I read this discussion, so of course I had to go and look it up. It's a pity that they're so expensive--I'd love to have a half-carat blue one made, but $8,000 is a bit much. Maybe they will be less expensive sometime in the future, and I'll be able to get a couple made up. I'm not so sure about having them as 'memorial' pieces, though. I guess I really don't care about what they do with my body after I die, since I'll have gotten all the use I could out of it. I'll probably settle for being cremated, or possibly donate myself to Body Worlds so others can get some enjoyment out of my lifeless husk.  :)
