I want to go for singing but cant help it. I am very bad at singing and sometimes feel bad about it. Poor me!

Oh my dar friend. Thats not the way. Just go freestyle. Sing what u like. Here are some tips. Rercord ur own songs and then when u play u will know where u went offtune. Try agaiun and try to improve there. Slowly with time the voice quality for singing will be muh better than now. i dont say it would be like lata mangeshkar or any of those top singers but atleat good enough to make u smile.

So where to start from?

just select a song u like, get the lyrics from the internet and try to catch the tune of the song along with the words.
then start recording...your voice for the same song. u will know where u r going wrong and can try to improve there.

I think u woulsd need to download. It depends from computer to computer. My comp[uter at office has.
The best would be on a cassette. I am sure u have a tape recorder at home. Put a blank casette. press the button rec thats for recording. When u do it the play button also goes down alon g with it and then after 6 secs u start to sing. Ur voice should not be accompanied by music. U will be able to make out that u r nervous and also at places the sound is going offtume. It happens even to the well known singers. So dont panic. Pick up ur confidence and sing. Try to variate the pitch and energy levels, emotions must be added to the song and keep reopeating the process till u r satisfied. U can ask ur family or friends also for suggestions an see u will be the indian idol soon.

i have harminium,tanpura,sitar,guitar,tabla,piano thats it....and ya small historical flute.

wow! i am amased to see all possible indian and western instruments at ur home. So its a family with a musical background. Excellent. I cant play any of those except for the piano. At this point of time i just feel like coming over and meeting u and ur family.
u must take good care of these and try to sing too. I am very sure u can sing too.

these intruments are of my mansi....she is in music doing master in music.but,its me who dont have much time coz studies are much important for me,but after studies i can surely think of these.

I understand dear. But u can ofcourse devote an hour to them every day and say 2 hous on holidays exceopt whn exams are too close.

thats wonderful. Practice makes a person perfect. So keep practicing. I am also trying to improve my voice.
