What cartoons did you like to watch as a kid..do you sometimes still watch them? |
|
Here's another trip down memory lane...What cartoons did you like to watch as a kid? I grew up in the Looney Tunes years (maybe that's why I'm still looney..LOL)---I remember Sylvester and Tweetie Bird--"I thought I saw a putty cat"..Bugs Bunny...."Hey...doc"..Pepe Le Pu...Was also a fan of Tom and Jerry too...as much as I'm a cat lover I always loved how Jerry the mouse always outwitted Tom the cat...and yes...every once in awhile I'm still given to watching cartoons.... So what cartoons do you remember from your childhood??

2. jeweledbluerose (2082) | 1 year ago | When I was younger I loved watching Looney Tunes, Baby Looney Tunes, Care Bears, and for the life of me I can't think of the others that I liked to watch on Saturday mornings. It's been to long ago it seems..lol If I don't have anything else to be getting done than I'll sit down and turn on the Cartoon Network and watch my fill of cartoons again. It's fun to do occasionally.

jeweledbluerose (2082) | 1 year ago | Sometimes I wonder why I even have it, the only time I really watch TV is when my husband is at home or I'm just really bored, but even than the TV isn't on very much, cause we are busy doing family things or I am working.

pyewacket (8065) | 1 year ago | When I did used to have cable..don't ask what I was paying for it a month...a lot...I had a lot of the premium channels--but then it was like this is silly --like you I hardly watch TV--if I do, it's to put on one of my DVD movies..--still I do miss the Cartoon Network..oh, and VH-1

3. Darkwing (5790) | 1 year ago | I always liked and still do like Disney cartoons best. However, Pink Panther, when it was silent, used to strike me as very funny, Bugs Bunny, Tweety Pie and Sylvester, and Yogi Bear and Booboo! lol. These days, I don't watch many cartoons, but if I deem to sit down and watch, I love the Rugrats and Winnie the Pooh. Brightest Blessings.

5. recycledgoth (6160) | 1 year ago | Digging into the murky recesses of my memory from that far back I guess it would have to be Bugs Bunny and the other Looney Tunes. I still watch cartoons sometimes, usually the Simpsons or Futurama, and they still make me giggle too.

8. sigma77 (4292) | 1 year ago | My favorites were Heckle and Jeckle. I also liked Mighty Mouse, Top Cat, The Flintstones and Bugs Bunny. I am sure there are many others I can't remember that I watched. I don't watch any cartoons today. They just aren't the same as way back then.

toe_ster (608) | 1 year ago | I second the cartoons in this comment. I was number five of six kids. I was low man on the totem pole, and had to watch whatever was on. I think there was rainbow brite, fraggle rock, animaniacs, transformers, thundercats, strawberry shortcake, the list goes on and on... I don't catch any of those now. With three little boys in the house the disney cahnnel or nick jr. rules our house. Itried tointerest them in a few of these great classics and none of them stuck, GOOD TIMES!
