What is your favorite state park?

My favorite park Pictured Rocks National LakeShore park in Munising,Michigan. It is absolutley beautiful. You can take a boat cruise. THey are hiking trails to a lighthouse and also to old lumber camps. Here is a picture of one of the rock formations.

If you ever have a chance to go to Turkey Run State Park in Indiana, you will enjoy it. We like several parks but we don't visit them alot as we like to go to local city parks as they usually have more playground equipment for the kids to play on. It is nice to walk the trails though at the state parks. The kids and I like to just take a quick lunch and go to a local city park and spend an hour or two. I can read or work on grading their school work etc while they play or we will take a frisbee and play it or something.

Hocking Hills State Park in southern Ohio is a beautiful place. I was there a couple of years ago, and I want to go back. I really got a good workout walking up and down the trails. There were a lot of places with stone steps that I had a little trouble with because I've got arthritis in my knees, but I still had a great time.
