I was just sitting here minding my own business when I heard the shouting from the TV in the back ground. Rosie and Elizabeth went at it. They were arguing in raise tones about political issues and Rosie asked Elizabeth if she thought she believed our troops were terroists. Well Elizabeth didn't say no and all heck broke loose. The other two on the show were uncomfortable and even started to ask the producer to go to a commerical. To me it was very immature on both their parts. My goodness it is a show where they express views but there has to be a point when their adult behaviors should kick in. As adults we have to agree to disagree from time to time and then let it go. I wouldn't allow my children to behave in that manner yet what does that teach them when they see highly paid adults acting like that? I could see both sides of their issue however I could not stand their behavior. I am sure it will be all over the news tonight and tomorrow for those that haven't seen it. I will be curious as to what parts the media cuts out. The sad thing is the producer encouraged this by not going to a break and letting them both cool down. Don't you think people in their position should be held more accountable for their child like behaviors?

I saw it too. Joy had started the discussion about how much she hated Bush and listed all the things that she felt he had done wrong. Even on tv you could see the tension. Elizabeth gets very defensive about Bush. She never questions any thing he does. She is blindly loyal to him. All the other gals are Democrat and she is the lone Republican. She really gets her nose out of joint if someone doesn't agree with the Bush administration. My big problem with this show and other talk shows, even news talk, is how they all talk over each other. I get so mad when they are all trying to say their piece and interrupting each other. Of course that does help ratings. People will watch just to see the arguement. Obviously none of these people ever took a debate class!

I thought it was completely unprofessional. The producer should've put a stop to it or gone to a commercial break. I didn't catch all of the argument. I turned the tv on after it had already started. I did catch how nasty Rosie was being to Elisabeth. I'm not a fan of Elisabeth, but didn't think she deserved that. Rosie seemed to be more interested in proving how right she is and didn't care what she said or how nasty she got. I just turned the tv off. I used to like Rosie, but not since she's been on The View. I rarely watch it since she's been on.

Rosie is nothing but a bully. Kudos to Elisabeth for standing her ground. Just because Rosie wants to call our troops "terrorists" doesn't mean that everyone has to agree with her. If it weren't for our troops, she wouldn't have the freedom to run her big mouth!
