i stayed up late last night to finish the book "undomestic goddess" by Sophie Kinsella. it was a very interesting read and i couldn't put the book down. this novel is about a high flying london lawyer who "committed" a mistake and then found herself as a housekeeper outside of london.
i recommend this book, a very well written story. light and funny.

I see that the author you speak on is pretty popular due to the folks getting her books; I might check it out myself. Currently I am reading two books concurrently. "Blessed Trinity" by Vanessa Davis Griggs which is about an upcoming church and the problems it encounters along the way. The author is from Birmingham, and we have corresponded a few times and find her books interesting and quite refreshing. Center in this book are three sisters called Faith, Hope and Charity. Another book I am also reading is Reshonda Tate Billingsley, "Everybody Say Amen", which is about a PK(preacher's kid)who became a PW(preacher's wife)with some reluctance, and the experiences she encounters along the way. Surely not to disappoint.

I like Sophie Kinsella, but haven't read that book, though I think I might have it. I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much too. I love those light fun books. What we call chick lit. :)
