Do you think "a man is known by the shoe that he wears"?

I disagree with that, the quality of shoes or anything a man wear does not reveal himself's quality. A man has its own identity which is uncomparable to any material things such as shoes. NO matter how high the quality of shoes, it still can't tell weather this man is a gentleman or not. In some instances, a poor guy can't be able to buy high quality shoes but you will see his qualities of being a gentleman, kind to elders and respect women, and there are guys who are very delicate in choosing the most expensive and quality shoes but the attitude were deteriorating.

i am completely smitten by this adage. i have this great fascination for shoes and would not compromise with quality. i have a huge shoe collection but generally, i end up wearing only a few. it feels good to have a look and in others also i kind of have a tendency to glance down to their shoes. sometimes, its annoying, i agree but i can't help. thanx.

I always buy comfortable shoes that are reasonably priced against trendy shoes as i really don't care what's fashionable. As trendy shoes are expensive too.Well I wear mostly dress shoes so I guess I do, I do have some of those gels in so they aren't so bad.

By the way he dresses and the shoe is a part of that philoshophy but not the whole thing.
