yes... today everybody in my workplace is happy because we got a payrise... at first, i don't really realise it until i take a look at my payslip... we all are very happy about this as this just shows that the employer care about the employee's condition... with the rising price of fuel and groceries due to the prolong drought here, we can really use the extra money... i really thank God for putting me in a great company that really treat its employees very very well and always look into our welfare... just want to share this joy with my fellow friends here... have a nice day...

Hello.lingli,congratuations for the payrise. I am always wondering how can we survive if we do not get a pay rise,i notice that everything have became more expensive in the past few years,if there is no change in our income,that mean our life will be harder and harder.
By the way, have you noticed a drop in rating in mylot?

hello easy... thanks for responding... yeah, i totally agree with you... that's why i am so grateful to God that He puts me in a caring company that think of the welfare of its employees a lot... and yes, i do realise the drop in my star rating as well today... but i don't want to make a big fuss and just let it go... may be it is just a technical glitch and mylot is trying to fix them... have a nice day...

i'm sorry easy... but i can't reveal to you which company i am working at the moment... i can just tell you that it is a big growing multinational company with billions of dollars of revenue every year... that's about it... and i really happy to work there because it gives me a good chance for career progression as well... have a nice day...

congratulations to you i really wish that we will be as lucky as you because it had been a while since my company have given us any rise. I know that all of us are under compinsated with our current company but what can i do looking for job is hard enough...so we have to stay here and suffer.

thanks for responding andak... i am sorry to hear that you haven't got any pay rise for a while... it is very hard because the cost of everything keeps on rising and you are right... it is very hard to find a job nowadays... so it is better to grab and hang on to whatever we have rather than nothing... good luck and have a nice day...

thanks for responding howard... yes, it is definitely a good feeling for me especially it comes at the right time when i need it to cover the increasing price of fuel and groceries... i think God is really really kind to me and He always provides me with the things that i needed at the right time... have a nice day and God Bless you...

Wow, good for you. I got a little bit of raise in my salary about a month ago.
I work in the government and there's this law that about every 3 years, if the employee hasn't been promoted, there's a mandatory pay raise but only about 5% of your pay, I think.
I'm crossing my fingers that the law about increasing government employees' pay take effect around July. I really need the money.

Hello lingli! Oh, this is really good for you, enjoy it! Where I live the wages are going down year after year. I have not gotten a payraise for more than ten years. Prices are going up but not the pay. Yesterday was a lucky day. I got 5 euro tip. This is a lot, at first I could not believe it but it was true and I was as happy as you are. Enjoy the money.

Payrise is very important to keep employees happy. but yes, job satisfaction matters most and if you are happy nothing can beat it.
if i may share one adage...
the company which makes millionaires is more desirable than the company which makes millions.

That is wonderful that you got a pay raise because it seemed like I never would get too many when I would work. Especially since costs are going up it is nice to get it, right? I wish you the best with using the extra money.

i'm supposed to get my raise about 6 months ago, but i haven't completed the employment requirements yet, so i have my increase on hold. it's pro rated, so it's ok. once i've completed my requirements, i would be getting a very big sum of money.. heheheh!
